Our goal is to provide a unique opportunity for K-12 adult education and community college programs to revitalize, invigorate and reinvent adult education to develop new approaches, new pathways, and new partnerships responsive to the needs of all Californians.  The vision of the Tri City Adult Education Consortium is first, foremost, and always focused on the individual student …on the student now, on the student moving forward, and on the student secure in the community in the future.  The Tri City Adult Education Consortium includes the Compton, Lynwood and Paramount Unified School Districts, Compton Community College District, and Compton College. We connect with partners (Workforce Investment Board, etc.) and local businesses.

Compton College

The Compton Community College District (CCCD) was established in 1927 as a component of the Compton Union High School District. In 1950, voters approved a bond issue separating the college from the high school district. Construction of the new college campus was completed on the present site. Classes began on the new campus in fall 1956.
